Accessibility
Mimosas Gourmet is dedicated to creating an inclusive online experience for all guests, regardless of ability. We view accessibility as an ongoing responsibility, not a finished objective — every update and every new feature is reviewed with accessibility in mind.
Our Commitment
We pledge to:
- Conduct regular reviews of our website against the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines.
- Implement current accessibility tools, patterns, and technologies in our front-end stack.
- Maintain or improve accessibility with each release.
- Add clear ARIA labels and descriptive alt text for images, icons, and interactive elements.
- Monitor color contrast, heading structure, focus indicators, and keyboard navigation throughout the site.
- Perform recurring accessibility audits with tools such as WAVE, axe, and Lighthouse.
Our Goal
Our goal is to exceed the minimum compliance bar so that everyone — including guests who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, switch devices, voice control, or alternative input methods — can browse our menu, find our locations, learn about catering and careers, and complete an online order through our partners with the same ease as any other guest.
Third-Party Content
Some experiences on our site — such as the online ordering flow, embedded maps, or social media feeds — are provided by third-party platforms. Their accessibility is governed by their own teams. If you encounter a barrier in one of those experiences, please let us know and we will reach out to the provider on your behalf.
